b) I am responsible for myself. No one else, including my ancestors. If whites are responsible for their crimes, blacks are responsible for theirs, including the black people whose ancestors SOLD their black brothers to white men. What were they thinking?
c) Slavery injured white people, too, and only benefitted white landholders. White laborers were injured by having to compete for jobs with unpaid labor.
d) Arlington cemetary shows that many more white men lost their lives ending slavery than blacks who were hung for no reason.
