OK, firstly CHILD PORN IS FREE!!! I've never heard of any of these porn rings making money (have you?) They are just big traders. The Wonderland club in Italy or Germany had a rule that you had to have 10,000 images to join. The rule was NOT "you have to supply us with orginial content by kidnapping children and raping them)
They are (mostly) all traders, they usually single fathers taking photos of there 10 girl and posting it on the net or shit like that, so no its not "Mostly commerical" its Mostly NOT commercial

They don't make money out of this, they don't sell this to these queer fucks its all free on the newgroups and IRC. Its not like he payed money to the rapist to go rape these children so he could get the images. The rapist did the deed or was doing the deed anyways and just happend to take some photos to show off.

He is coming along AFTER the fact and viewing the photos of something that WOULD OF HAPPEND weather he download the images or NOT.
To say its the same as some guy paying a hitman to kill his ex-wife is just the stupidist thing you've said so far.
I had a friend who once went down this bad path of child porn, he wasn't in a good place mentally/psychially in his life and I found the images through while the computers were networked one day. I told him and he was very very embarressed and I told him he better get rid of them and stop doing that cause I didn't need the police coming and taking both our computers away. He stopped and weeks later I helped him get his life back together and he is now living a healthy productive life.
Looking back on him now he is fine and he has told me he regrets dearly looking at those images as he can't get them 100% out of his head. I know the feeling, I hate seeing gore photos (even a glimpse as I can't get the damn images out of my head for days). They make me feel sick.
I do not believe my friend deserved to be shot for what he did, I do not believe he committed a serious enough crime to deserve the same jail time as a Drunk driver who kills or maims somone for life. My friend DID NOT indirectly RAPE any children, he did not help rape any children and if he wasn't there to download those images those children would still of been raped. If there was zero demand for child porn images on the net and the rapist had noone to trade images with THOSE CHILDREN STILL WOULD OF BEEN RAPED.

The simple fact is that these pictures are out there, and these sick pricks do this shit to children wheather someone is there to trade the pictures afterwards or not.
The problem with child porn is that people see it and then LIKE IT and then try it on there own children or kidnap others children and do it. THAT IS THE PROBLEM, they is why it has to stop.
THE PROBLEM IS NOT, that people are downloading it and creating DEMAND and thereby creating a HUGE number of "COMMERICIAL" companies to produce this niche and thereby make millions selling it. NO THAT IS PURE BULLSHIT and your oppions are wrong.
We want to stop it so others don't get the idea and start doing it themselfs. And it sure would help if the US gov closed down all the child porn newsgroups. I think they keep them open so they can get lots of easy arrests without to much work.
