Look at how many people have tried campaigning, lobbying, etc. Its not making a difference. Why bother? Bush has said time and time again he is gonna stay the course. And he knows no one likes his little war. But he presses on anyway.



I doubt many vets approve of soliders going on torture sprees. And if they do, well fuck them too. Its wrong and it dosent matter how many people are willing to turn the other way, I am not.



Sorry sicone, but your response illustrates exactly the attitude that has gotten us into this position. They are just following orders, doing their jobs. That rationalization has been used to justify countless illegal and inhumane actions throughout history from Hitler's little tirade to Saddams killing squads to Rodney King. Do you realize that Hitler would have never came to do all of his dirty deeds if just a handful of people around him had the courage to stand up and say no? Everyone has a choice. Including every member of our armed forces that partakes in this disgusting shit.
