Especially, if your in the top 10 right off the bat when you list. "Whoa, where did that site come from?" Ego's are crushed, thus starting the rumors. "Must be cheater!" But yet, no one see's the past 1-2 years of work that came to build it up..growing the traffic and coming in from behind the scenes.
There are a few sites that are huge that don't list on sextracker that like playing it low key. I remember Elephant List being one of them. Not sure exactly what his traffic is like these days though.

elephant list is still over 600K/day uniques - but most of us doing large traffic know about sites that dont' use public coutners like elephant list, snakesworlds and hardcore Junky for a few examples off the top of my head.. If they slapped counters up tomorrow noone would question the traffic. The thing that bugs me is some of the trades these new supposed guys say they have - look at starTGP for example - some of what he says are his largest trades are sending VERY VERY little hits to the people on his list - spots like that should send out a lot more traffic. so why the high ranking? If you use your BRAIN it just doesn't make sense and you're left questoning it? It doesn't add up.
Sextracker isn't everything - look into the details and make an INFORMED decision for yourself.
Elephant list for example has LARGE trades with estabilished sites and has had those trades for YEARS. The site is over 4 years old and if you check the webarchive you'll see he was in business many years ago doing daly updates - some of these sites in question didn't exist LAST YEAR yet alone years ago and CLAIM to have 400K/day......................
