Soldiers have been committing horrible acts for hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of years. We are here today because of those horrible acts. The Revolutionary War, The Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the list goes on. Does anybody really care?

In 50 years is anybody really going to care about a few innocent people dying? No. In 10 years is anybody really going to care about a few innocent people dying? No. Next year is anybody really going to care about the innocent people who died yesterday? No.

We have homeless people living about OUR streets, day and night. We have homeless people dying about OUR streets, day and night. Does anybody care? No.

Unfortunately, war and "horrible acts" are a necessary evil. If one side doesn't commit, the other will.
