because they like to pretend they have money that they do not have and are willing to pay a great deal of interest to do so
wealthy people tend to live in normal homes, drive normal vehicles, and don't buy outlandish items. those are for posers.
no offense to the thread starter, everyone needs a hobby, autos are as good as any if you can afford them
