I wish they would, too, but it isn't realistic to think it's going to happen. It's hard to understand WHY they do it, but you're right -- the political stupidity every 3rd thread is completely out of hand.
What's the solution? Is there ANY support at the home base for a dedicated political forum, so those of us who are tired of the ridiculous nonsense can stop having to see it so often? It would be different if you could just ignore the threads, but they're EVERYWHERE.
I've heard the "It's called 'Fucked Around & Program Discussion,' so we can fuck around" statement, but ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
