If I couldn't get away by just gunning it, I can guarantee the morgue would have a very busy night on their hands. No jury in the country would convict you for popping a few of them. That's a seriously life threatening situation.
Once you nailed one they'd all bone the fuck out. That's what those people do. Hell, even a shot in the air would be light turning the lights on with roaches.
