interesting take. I usually get a new phone every year. When 3G hits here I'll get aboard

Right now that's not a concern.
I guess it's the lesser of MANY evils when picking a phone or service provider. There's price, customer service and reliability. Every cell company lacks in one or a number of areas and regionally there are differences within each company as well.

And i hear Verizon has great support ... I'll pay for it - price isn't an issue necessarily
