I don't have a huge issue with verizon - I just prefer and am happy with T-mobile. Verizon is CDMA which is supposed to be a more outdated and proprietary technology. GSM is more of a worldwide standard. Of course many countries have upgraded to 3G networks which is the future. Also, I've heard nothing but bad things about verizon's customer service and their rate plans are about twice as expensive. There are better values and services out there - that's my
