I don't want to start this up again, so here's a minimalist synopsis.
Things got much worse. We had a bizarrre on-again/off-again start-and stop thing going and she continued to fuck up my heart and life until she moved out. Apparently living away form me was a moderately rude awakening and after quite some time, she came back sad and apologetic. I kept her at arms length for a long time until it seemed she might actually be telling the truth then we slowly started trying to patch things up. She moved back in, things are mostly pretty good right now. It's been a long time since anything bad happened but I still haven't regained the trust I lost over the course of the incidents. Things are looking better but the healing is nowhere near done and nothing is certain.
That's the short version, the details would cause another 200-page thread and I have no intention of letting them out any time soon.
