Im 28 and don't EVER want them. I don't want to dedicate my life to raising something else or devote my life to someone else to that extent. Even though I can afford it, I have to honestly say I would rather spend the money on myself.
I also want to be free and at no one's beck and call, if I want to travel somewhere I want to be able to do so at a minute's notice without having to explaing anything to anybody.
The main reason is that I want to live my life for myself and no one else. Also I would never want to give birth, even with an epidural or c-section, it is not ever going to happen.
I also am one of those people who NEVER "oooooh and aaaah" over kids like "omg, they are soooo cuuuute." I never thought kids were cute. I just have no interest in them. I just don't want anything to do with them.
It actually annoys the hell out of me when people oooh and aaaah like that.
