oh, you opened a can of worms...
let's see, my rent in a 5 star hotel (you can rent them as apartments here in LOS [land of smiles]) that in the USA would cost ya 4.5kUSD/month cost me $1k here, daily maid service, 3 level gym with spa, jacuzzi, etc, 3 pools with waterfalls, in the middle of sukhumvit (the beverly hills of bangkok)....
my room service for lunch i order full meal for 1 and it cost me $4.00 plus a 25 cent tip which is actually considered too much for justa delivery boy around here.....
girls? haha it is actually pretty annoying, u ever been to tijuana and see how the guys stand out front of the clubs with fliers asking you to come to their club and the great drinkspecials they have? well it's like this, but with girls trying to pull you into their bar or club to play pool with them/take them home, etc.... if you are so inclined, you can take the hottest one you find home for about 24 hours of anything you want for appx $25....
Or if you are slick like me, you find one(or four) you dont pay for to fuck when you dont feel like going out 'shopping'...
Either way you can be very picky.... take the girls @ like 7pm, have them go barhopping with you for the night, take em home, have your way... wake up, have your way, either send them home, allow them to hang out ... etc... they usually clean your house and do your dishes just because they dont wanna watch Monday Night Football with you haha
Beer here at a bar ranges from 1 dollar per heineken to 3 dollars at high end clubs....
You can go to PantipPlaza(.com) and buy pirated software, windows XP, $5..... Pirated DVDs, $3.... Fake name brnad clothes at MBK Stadium, I bought 10 top name brand (fake) sets of clothes for about $140.... Just as good as the real ones, just not as sturdy, I consider them somewhat disposable by the price....
There's alot of Brits and Aussies out here, not as many americans, and most are middle aged and overweight looking perverts, so when any TG (thai girl) sees a strapping young american they are very quick to try to keep you.... (just another way The Man tries to keep whitey down)....

Oh, no need for a car around here $1 will get you anywhere in a taxi around here.... If you dont want to wait in traffic you hop on a motorbike taxi, and they weave thru traffic like you wouldnt believe, it's quite freakish actually, 50 cents, on one of these maniacs bike gets you anywhere, but you sacrifice your hairdo, and quite possibly your life... hehe
