Actually, I meant lack of experience with money... I've donated to local causes before here in LA, but I had to stop when I tried to befriend the homeless guy at the 7-11 next to my work, and he started to tell me how "this was his job' and homey turned out to make more than I did selling $5000 tubs. Now I know that the question was not meant about homeless guys and giving him $5, but man that experience sure stuck with me and I'm a cynic anyways. I've given to local churches before and my g/f is a Catholic active in her church, so we do give a little. I just took the assumption that the original question was geared towards bigger comtributions.
