Interesting.
The guy is not shooting at a level that would justify shooting in RAW. All he needs is some practice and to balance his camera. A light meter would make the exposures more consistent.....but you already know that.

like i said it's just a 30 sec color correction. generally warm tones look better on skin than magenta. comes down to personal preference though
if not shooting in RAW, then shoot in something other custom white balance. ANY setting would be better than the magenta cast.

custom white balance should ONLY be used if you know what you're doing.
