As an older woman, I will tell you that IME, most older men prefer at least SOME hair down there. They have told me that they feel like they're with a 13 year old if she's completely shaved.
Thank goodness these same men don't shave their chests. The generation who though shaved chests on grown men looked good should be shot - unless you're a twink ;)
