Nico... once again.. I've got no beef with you but the thought that this or any war is about "OIL" is ignorant. The US buys most of it's oil from the UAE. That's not "Iraq". Have you looked to see what Iraqis are paying per gallon for gasoline? If not you might want to do so.
Like I said above "responsible for this whole mess" isn't one guy. That's not possible. Otherwise it would be "A" mess. Is it a mess? I think so. But I don't think it's a mess that could have been avoided over that last 30 years.
This is more than the voting of some American President and his or her leadership skills. I've said this before, and I'll say it again... this is the Modern Day "Holy Crusades". And it's gonna get worse before it get's better. People that compare Vietnam to this war are maybe correct, the only difference is that instead of fighting governmental ideology, your throwing around religious ideology.
I would be curious to know your I guess "attitude" on 2 issues....
1. What is a "jihad"
and
2. What does a "jihad" mean not only to the Western civilization but to all nations? I'm assuming you being from the Netherlands your not Muslim.
