I'm well aware she's a regular on Bill Maher's show. I think Jon Stewart wouldn't have her on because she's so out there and does nothing to further intelligent discourse, but instead, hinders it.
If you watch TDS you'll see people, especially lately, that have polar opposite views of Jon. He respects them, gives them an opportunity to discuss things rationally and furthers discussion and awareness.
I'm not entirely convinced she says what she thinks, but more says what will sell more books for her and create the biggest controversies.
