Hmmm...I heard something about gaining weight if you eat in the evening/night time. I thought it was because by that time, your bodies metabolism slows down, unable to burn off all the calories that you take in. Or something of that nature. If anyone knows the specifics...
But that may work. Not sure why you're looking to gain, so it's a little harder to give advice. lol
