if we are in a club I normally watch them for a while as guys get turned down to get an idea of what type of girl they are before I approach, then I try to get Eye contact to see if I even have a chance..
If she looks interested I move in and feel her out with some questions before I decide if I should be aggresive or not.
They hate to be Ignored so go up say hello and just kinda blow them off or walk away. you need to break them down before you build them back up.
