Agree with you - almost the same situation here - no domains are owned or operated by US citizens or companies or hosted within the US and I never did fall under the laws of the US and never will.
It makes ya want to spew up over even standard 2257 text, but I still think the original basis of this was OK (Fuck any ammendments).
Next to go is ICANN.
On principle, if there is a problem in the US - I'd gladly set up a corp to help any webmasters with domains in whatever other jurisdictions.
