Let's just take KB out of the equation for a moment...

You have a stored value card whose primary (and it appears ONLY) use is for access to hardcore (and of course softcore) pornography websites. Addressing the obvious issue first, porn is an impulse buy and prepaid cards have been tried before and failed miserably.

Next, lets look at distribution. In order for a retailer to offer this product, they have to have a POS terminal. That's really no biggie since there are many of them out there thanks to phone cards and other items that use them. So you would think step 1 would be major chains. 7-11. Circle K, etc. I don't see any way in hell that these companies will touch this. 7-11 banned playboy, a magazine which has never even showed a clit, from it's stores. Do you think they would offer a prepaid porn card? Yahoo doesn't even sell porn anymore!

So lets say the major chains are out. There are still a shit load of retailers with POS machines. What do these retailers sell that require these POS terminals? Well think about it, now think about where they are usually located. Inner city. Selling phone cards, next to the cheap booze. Dont see much of a market for a stored value porn card with a $4 upcharge in these markets.

After retailer support, you need industry support. Let's put KB back into the equation now and how many of you that have been insulted in this thread alone are going to jump on the bandwagon to support this?

Keeping KB in the equation, this went from a stored value porn card, zero chargebacks to a paypal type system for adult. Well, their site doesnt mention a single thing about card holder to card holder transfer of funds. Their SEC filings dont mention a single thing about card holder to card holder transfer of funds either. And once that transfer is made, if it is made at all, how do you get the money out? No mention of that either.

For those of you that understand paypal, you know that moral indignation had little to do with paypals exit from adult content. The reason for that was that the majority of fraud within the paypal system came from adult. Eliminate adult, eliminate a great deal of fraud.

In addition, everything this card offers the consumer, is also offered by VISA and MASTERCARD gift cards. Easier to obtain. Cheaper to obtain. Can be used for tens of thousands of other items in addition to porn. No wink and a smile from the cashier when purchased. Walk into any bank in the world and get your money out.

And finally, KB, you are an employee of a publically (although extremely thinly) traded company. I believe there are rules in regards to public disclosure. That's all I am going to say about that.

If there was a product that offered expedited cash flow with zero risk and zero chargebacks that made sense, I would be on it like white on rice. However, it is my opinion, and apparently historys opinion, that this isn't it.

Just my opinion for what it's worth. Prove me wrong, I will gladly listen.

well said, case closed.
