Not so, the bar business has a number of variables unique to the industry that have to be considered over and above the gross reciepts.
For instance, in the Quarter (here in New Orleans), a bar license is seperate from the the bar location and is usually "onioned"- you'll have to pay a percentage to any number of "owners", who are grandfathered into any deal you might arrange. For instance, when the first Tropical Isle opened on Tolous Street- Pam and Earl had to pay rent for the property, PLUS, vigor to a number of other owners of the actual license to have a bar in that location. {edited}
When one is putting out over 20,000 a month before paying for the beer one plans to sell, you best have a business plan PLUS!!!
