Milambur: I doubt that is it because of the amount of resources it would take to sniff the traffic of a core/edge router unless the actual ISP was in on it which i also doubt.
Tempest: I think you might be on to something when you say that an affiliate software package might have an issue. It's the only commonality between them i think
