We are an all-gay Adult Verification Service, fairly new in the biz.
At first we purchased a custom-made script from a different company, located in Australia. Cost was $1400, and was nothing but junk. Some features didn't work at all, and it did not include all the features a regular AVS needs.
We only struggled with that script for about 4 months, then we heard about PC coming out with the Pro-version of their AVS script. Talked to a young fellow named Ryan Kinnear there, and he explained the differences between the regular version of the AVS script and the PRO version.
We purchased the PRO version for somewhere around $2500 installed from Ryan, and that was about 10 months ago. Have not regretted it since.
The PRO version did everything the "Big Boys" can do (AdultCheck, etc.) But there were 3 or 4 small modifications we wanted to have done to the script to tailor it for our site. There was no problem with that either; it only took a few days to get the script revised for each revision and it worked every time.
We are thrilled with the excellence in service and support from PC and have grabbed 7 other small-time scripts for free from their site, using our PC membership. They all worked fine, except for one of them that we wanted modified for our own purpose. They told us they were very busy and it could take up to 2 weeks. But they had it set up in only 4 days.
So our experience has been excellent with them. We would recommend them for any perl scripts, from their site, or custom made. Save money and get an excellent script with excellent followup, which you sure don't get with most companies these days!
