I wouldn't say English is a lazy language. For us, who speak Russian, English seems to be a language where you have to continiously rape your mouth in order to speak correctly. I can speak English a bit, but I know it sounds rather like a goat speaking Greek.
BTW, Polish language is much harder in prononsation than Russian. In Slavic group it's somewhat equal to French in Latin group.
