And about the girl.. I don't do anything! It's her biz BUT if you want to show her that you care or something like that.. I don't recommend to do it cause girls forget so fast!! specially when you stand in their way when they THINK they are right!!
Advise: Between you and me! If you like this girl.. I don't think it's a good idea to tell her about her bf or even talk to someone about it!!
The best thing to do is to advise her that her bf is not good for her (I know girls don't like advises) and if she asked why.. tell her that you don't know.. and stuff like that!! CHANGE THE SUBJECT!!!
So when she know about him!! she will know that YOU told her.. I think it's the PROPER way..
(if you want to tell her you might lose her and if you don't she will complain about it later -trust me-) -better way is to show that you don't know anything-
