This may be considered verbally to try to scare Iran off but this will never happen unless we are out of Iraq and that isn't happening any time soon. Sure Bush can legally have military presence in Iran with his War Powers Act for a limited time but it won't be long before they yank them out of there because Congress would never approve prolonged presence there. It's a lesson learn in history, remember what happened to the Nazis when they started a war on two fronts?
The Iranians have an edge here especially with the anti-American views present almost everywhere outside of the borders of the US of A (especially in Iran). Every time the Iranian President opposes the west, he'll get more and more approval from his own people. It's pretty interesting to watch how leaders in other countries influence their own political power by simply saying "No" to everything USA-supported.
