american sports are popular because anyone can do them. they appeal to the fat asses that sit at home on sunday and watch them. the fat kids in school could all play football and baseball. but i'd like to see them try a sport where you're running the entire time. these guys wouldn't last 5 minutes on a soccer field. soccer is mostly popular in countries where a majority of the population isn't overweight. i played growing up as a kid and all through highschool.
