if he doesnt have a clue and the content hasnt been porven to be stolen and he has a contract/agreement he can. As a matter of ethics he shouldnt , as a business matter though , if he bought the rights to sell the content , i see no reason he cant sell it ( unless he knows it is stolen or its proven to be stolen )
