exactly ... I also tended bar back in the day and i always leave $20 on the first drink .. then a buck or two after that ..then at least a $20 when i leave.
at a wedding when drinks are free I've been knows to drop $60-$80 in tips ... I figure i would spend more then that a night out ... and these guys work hard..
There are a few cases when the guys just suck ... then I tell them that at the end and leave very little .
