there was an article in the papers a few years ago about 15/16 year old girls working topless in some clubs here on the basis that 15 was the legal age of employment... but i think liquer licencing regulations now prohibit this... not sure what the full legal situation is

personally i think all performers should be 18+

just thought id add my 2c worth
If another country has a consent age of 16, then a webmaster from that country is not breaking the law for promoting that legal content in their country. People should act within the laws of their country, and 18 is an arbitrary age set up by the U.S., it is not the law of the world, nor is it necessarily more or less right than 16 or 20.

However, he came to this board promoting a program which he said was using girls which are not legal in the U.S. GFY has a ton of U.S. webmasters, and many more from other places who obey U.S. laws because their sponsors are located in the U.S. He should have expected a firestorm for offering content which is probably illegal in the country where most GFY business is done. Even if what he was doing was technically legal, he might want to consider the reputation of his company, not just the law, before starting a thread like this. Some people are not very open minded when it comes to consent laws in various countries.

Besides that, he didn't try to defend himself using that argument, he said it was a typo. Maybe it was. Maybe.
