Beer. Depends where you are - mostly local stuff is good, though Sam Adams can be had almost anywhere now. West Coast - Sierra Nevada. South - Abita, Blackened Voodo... East - Sam of course (and Rolling Rock)... Back home, it's St-Ambroise, Unibroue stuff, Cheval Blanc (they got free glasses with the six-packs now woohoo) or just plain old Molson when the premium's not around...
Then, there's whiskey.
Lagavulin and Isle of Skye are the best whiskies.
Jack Daniels is the best period.
