So there's forbidden porn on the one hand (which contains depictions of healthy sex), and then there's the obvious sexual "charge" of TV shows dealing with violent crimes, especially when they are deliberately eroticizing female victimization. Bad, bad, bad... and not so different from the effects we see in Japan. Sorry for the rant.
Yep. I've said it before... but TV-violence seems to be socially acceptable, while TV-sex is socially unacceptable. It's okay to show someone hurt another person on TV, but it's not okay to show someone making another person feel good on TV. Totally backwards if you ask me.
