video encoding
Hi Guys
I have a bunch of videos that need to be encoded either with ffmpeg or handbrake some are taking like 10 minutes or more. My servers are either e3-1240 or e5-1650 Would getting a i7 based server for video encoding make sense or should I go with something like aws GPU system? |

you should get a porncms account for $29 and run your videos thru it. cheap conversion option and everything is already set up. we have a couple tube owners using us for conversions and then moving the videos to their tube sites.

How many videos do you have? Can you spin up a bunch of VM instances somewhere and spread them out? If you have a decent amount of videos to encode I can whip something up and run them through.
