Bandwidth Question
I am planning to build a dating site where users can post images/videos. Below is a website posted by another user:
http tube.vintagepornbay com I am looking at something of its size for my tube site. All videos will be 480p to 1080p. I am also expecting some image uploads too. How do you guys calculate the bandwidth for something like this? I really don't care about Cloud hosting/VPS or CDN but the content should be loading fast. I am expecting a maximum of 10,000 users on my site |

I would approach the problem differently. Unless you are going to have a huge publicity push just start small and scale as needed. Design it to be scaleable from the beginning. Then just add servers as needed.

Yeah but if you start small you have to keep a close eye,and be ready for expanding. Nobody is going to come back to a slow site + it hurts the SEO.

Thanks for your answers!
I agree. I decided on a setup a little above the basic needs that can be scaled quickly |
