The better question is where will you get traffic. Once you answer that one come back and ask your original question.

The costs depend entirely on how much you can do yourself, and what you plan to have?. Do you need to pay for Traffic? Hosting? Design? Content? Member area software? Leased feeds? Affiliates? Etc.

Personally, I make my own content, and do most of my own designs and all of my updates. Some costs are money, some are time.

A good site, including the advertising you would need to spend to make good/decent money, would be around $30,000

Man, then I feel lucky.

I invested $700 to shoot content and launch one site through PROAdult Quantum that turned a net profit of twice that in its first month and has consistently grown in revenues.

I recommend you spend your money on content and advertising (PROAdult offers some good opportunities for generating traffic). Focus on getting quality exclusive content that you can package in a tour that converts the traffic. I do my own designs, but I'm crazy like that...

A huge savings is that PROAdult offers free hosting with unlimited bandwidth.

Most importantly, they also offer some pretty compelling sites with exclusive content and many premium sites on their linklist are better than most standalone paysites. I have seen 70% retention in rebills month to month...

If you are just starting out, I would highly encourage you to try a Premium AVS site before striking out with your own hosting, processing, etc.

You will greatly limit your risks, and your investment will go towards creating or purchasing quality photos and video, and a design.

If you decide to try PROAdult and need advice, drop me a line - akfk@akfk.com.

I'd also recommend that you really plan out what the strengths of this site are going to be.

You need a hook, and quality to back it up. I wouldn't really venture into anything right now that wasn't unique to some extent.

There may be short term money in following trends of knocking off other site's style and concept, but if you're going to put some serious coin into it, you need to make it stand out.

What are you trying to say? Pro Adult might be a good place to start?

No no no no, they are all wrong. The amount of mis-information on this board is staggering. You should check out Pro Adults

Proadult is the cheaper one. Pro Adults is the big one.

I noticed your location says Sweden... you might want to consider that third party Visa processing could be a bit of a headache for you in the near future.

Don't spend a dime on any of it until you can make a living promoting proven sites. Then make an even better site and you will be rocking! Just a thought.

I will admit it was worded awkwardly, but can't someone honestly tell what worked for them without it sounding like a pitch?

Maybe they can't... always be skeptical, but the above post has more of me laying out what has actually worked for me than most of what I've seen on this board.

Anyhow... my experience in promoting other sites was flat, but I succeeded with my own stuff. Everyone has their own strengths, I guess.

That can surely happen. I did just the oposite. lol I put together a paysite in a very small niche and spent a bunch of money. THEN I tried to figure out how to sell it. That didnt' work for me. I turned it into a cheezy shitty free site and now I can sell all kinds of paysite memberships from it. You just never know what will work for someone. That is probably why it is so hard to help people out with stuff.

i would promote an affiliate program first. if you can convert with someone else's design you can take the money you make off that and re invest it into your own site. and that way you will have a good idea of what will and what will not work with your traffic.

PROAdult does NOT charge a yearly fee to set up a site with them.

They will host your site for free, on your own domain name if you like.

You design it and set it up with your content (original or purchased). You can call out key sites they offer in your tours to increase sales. From inside your member's area, you can post links to those sites in addition to your content.

Your only cost is your content and doing the design. The hosting and bandwidth are free.

They also pay every two weeks, like clockwork.

how much content you want, how big you want it,
how much you spend on your design..

if you want it small or big.. big different

i think around $3,000 for a small one

Almost EVERY company in this business is MLM.

Referrals are a big deal...sponsors and companies want your business, and you can earn a % for sending not only surfers but webmasters to different sites if they use them and succeed. And they pay it out of THEIR end so the new webmasters get a normal payout.

I offer my time and consultation to anyone who signs up with PROAdult under me, because when my advice and help pays off, I stand to see a small kickback of profits from PA.
