My site is almost a month old and I start to kill my shared hosting

I saw that a few people use amerinoc and I think this managed vps with 10 TB Bandwidth would be something for my site

If you have experiences with amerinoc, please share and how many users do you serve with it

Amerinoc is great. I've hosted a mid-sized tube (maybe 120 or so users online at a time) and a bunch of blogs with them for a while on a VPS with them with no trouble. Could easily handle more.

I'd probably suggest looking at the MVPS2 though. It's only another $20 for twice the specs.

I tried Amerinoc 2 times and it sucked every time.

I use like 10 diff. hosts now.

For a VPS I can recommend www.m3server.com, www.wiredtree.com, www.servint.net, www.liquidweb.com

Thanks for the answers, normally I host my sites on hostgator, but for these sites I only need a few hundred visitors and you can make with them a $100 day. But for tube site I need thousands of thousands and it's all about servers.

Don't go with a VPS.

For tubes (or any other site that needs to get HUGE to make money) be prepared for growth and just start with a dedicated. You will hate yourself when you suddenly get a ton of visitors and your VPS is too slow, crashes, you have a week downtime and google punishes you bad.

1. Make sure the hosts you look at accept adult.

2. Do some research on them to see about complaints.

3. Dont be fooled by some of the slick talk the hosting providers like to give out. If you dont understand ask and then make sure to look it up.

Yep, it sucked (virtual plan)... sites slow, server overloaded/oversold, very limited resources... I have also a virtual plan with hawkhost and it's much better... for a VPS I can recommend m3server, servint or wiredtree.

I moved now to amerinoc, moving tube site is hard work, if you are not on the final server do not upload videos, moving video files is so time consuming. Hope will be fine with amerinoc.

I have the same problems right now, at the end of the week I'll make time and move to another hosting company. The VPS without any of my code consumes over 650 ram and they still argue that is normal.

Last week everyday I had for at least 30 min down.

Are you talking about amerinoc? My site is every day down for about 1 or 2 hours, and I have less traffic than on the shared hosting. My goal is to have 100k visitors daily, then I think I will have a downtime of 90%. But the support is very gentle. My favorite hoster is still hostgator, their support is so great. I think with this tube project I have to learn more about servers.

Till now I'm happy with amerinoc no downtime anymore, but at the moment I have only 1k to 2k visitors daily, interesting will be over 10k visitors if I ever get there.
