So, just to make this straight - after many many years that I have majority of those reviews online, they are suddenly breaking your TOS and a reason to suspend my affiliate account? Some of the reviews are maybe 6 or 7 years old I've been contacted many times in the past by various members of your staff, asking me to update reviews, do new reviews ... even pointing me to urls on my site with reviews that need to be updated. So until now all was ok and now its breaking your TOS?

Looking at the TOS, seems like you are effectively ending cooperation with pretty much all review sites out there, as all of them have the names of you sites in the url in one way or another. So al of you fellow review site owners might prepare to get a similar email. Because the terms say t clear now : "any domain name (including third level domain names or sub-domains) or URL"

Looking at a few of the big ones :

- http://www.thebestporn.com/review/naughtyamerica/ - oops its there
- http://www.rabbitsreviews.com/s251/M...x-Teacher.html - damn, there again
- http://reviews.freeones.com/Naughty_America2.shtml - again its in the url
- http://www.adultreviews.com/review/m...x-teacher.html - again the url contains it

I still think this might be caused by a new affiliate manager who was too active or something like that, because I really do not see whats the point in getting your sites delisted from all review sites. I understand you are against people registering domains with your TMs in it and profiting from it, but a review site with a subdomain or the general url using the name of your sites... thats something completely different.

Well, if you really want to take this route, post here so I know I have to start deleting reviews, galleries and all other promo pages I have online promoting naughty america stuff.

Yes, I have it in the subdomains, but the terms mention the URLs too. What does it change anyways, especially since I use subdomains, like I did since 2003 and your sites were there as soon as I found out they exist...

That's basically what it seems to be in the end. Someone probably looked at the Google rankings and noticed they were having to pay him "for signups they would have had anyway" (not necessarily true, in fact it usually isn't) so they decided to selectively enforce this term after all these years. This kind of thing never bodes well for an affiliate program from an affiliate's perspective because it often suggests they are seeing affiliates as a cost rather than an asset. Sheer stupidity. That's why the business is going where it is. On top of that per impression those full tubes sell far less than other site types which don't give so much away. The result is less joins overall for them. But not everyone is intelligent enough to see this before it actually happens. They only get it a year or two out once the affiliate program is destroyed and their pay site business is near death as well to the point where the dwindling sales the tubes send them (as compared to before) are the only thing keeping them in business by a thread. Then these people come on GFY and talk about how they love tubes (because it's the only thing keeping them around at the moment but at 30-50% of the old revenues before they decimated their own pay site business).

Its quite the contrary actually in this case ... someone looks for some NA site, finds a review on my site (in case of NA all reviews are scored high) and reads good things about it, so he is more likely to join. Of course not all sales produced from the review are credited to me, some surfers are already cookied from some other ref link, some might decide to join later etc ... so it shoud be any programs intention to have sites lke this listed high in google... I got an email from them already, so maybe they already realized it and we are getting somewhere. We will see.
