Adding Banner Code

Could someone take a look at fetishvidz.net/dorm-room-threeway/ and let me know why the full banner code is getting separated and not showing the ad?

Or do I just have no clue on what I am doing?
On second thought do not answer that 2nd question.

1. You have the url for the banner image wrong so the image is not showing. I do not know where you have the banners at on the server so can't tell you what the right url is.

2. As far as getting both the text and the image linked, everything you want linked has to be inside the a (anchor) tag so just move your <a href= up before the text, like this:

That's where the problem is, this banner ad is from an sponsor so I do not have access to the banner image.

You need t go to the sponsor (revengebucks) ad tools page and download the banner images you want to use.

Then you put those banners onto your server in a folder called images or pictures or whatever you want to call it. Put that directory in your domain main folder.

Then you need have your img src tag point at the image on your server. <img src=images/picturename .....

If the sponsor allows hotlinking of their banners then you need to use the full url to the banner on the sponsors server as your img src.

It looks like you are using the link code that the adtools generated, that is not always right for your server. You need to tweak the img src to fit your server configuration or put the banner in the main folder (which I think organizationally is a bad idea).

Adding a little here because you are either a reallll newb or you are trolling.

I will aassume you are just newb.

To download the banner. Go to the adtools page, where they list the links and show the small image of the banner, click on the banner. This will take you to a full size image.

Right click and save the picture to your computer.

Then ftp into your server, make your image directory and upload the image from your computer to your server.

Just doing that before you ask the question ;p

Yes it did, that is what I was starting to realize needed to be done.
Just thought I could use their nats banner code and make it work as it is in the ad tools section as you said.
So essentially I am not getting the full path to the image.

I just signed up at revengebucks so I could look at what you have to work with.

The links the adtools generate are for banners on your pages. I did not see an option for hotlinking the banners from their server.

Thats better anyway. Hotlinking gives them the control of what the banner looks like, they could change it out on you anytime they want. It is always best to keep control of as much of your content as possible.

So, you need to dl the banner and then put ot on your server, like I said.

I would like to point out a few things

I see your using our embedded codes which is awesome. I would pick a bigger sized player though to fill the section up a bit more.
Something is wrong with the banner rotator plugin as well cause you get a 404 page when you click on the banner.
We have banner codes in the webmaster area that you can just copy and paste as we do host all our banners if you like.
