Take the money you want to give someone to play whack a mole, and invest it in:

- marketing
- content
- design
- UX

And you will make more difference to your bottom line than funding snake oil sellers.

You'll never stop your stuff being shared, ever. Which is why all these places speak in such hyperbole and never have any evidence, clients lists, white papers etc. They cannot do what they claim they can do.

IMHO.

As an open offer to anyone on GFY currently giving money to any content removal companies: Give the money to me instead to do some marketing, and if I cannot increase your bottom line higher that what the content removal companies are doing, I will refund you 10 times the difference. And yes, happy to put that into writing.

Content removal companies are a waste of time, none of them have the resources that will match the creativity and tenacity of those determined to illegally share content.

The best investment you can make is, as Damian says, internal investment. Monitor obvious infringement yourself, send DMCA notices yourself, however don't spend time and money running down the P2P and Jurisdiction safe sites you'll never take down.

Lastly and most importantly for anyone reading this thread, Degban are thieves. Don't deal with thieves. They don't provide any value for the money you throw at them and they suck in so many ways I don't know where to begin tearing them down.
