Question for Clips4Sale Guru's

Does the time(s) of day that you update your store matter?

We have noticed definite trends with respect to the day's of the week but I also wonder if there might be trends with respect to the times of day?

Is there any way to generate a report based on "time of day" ?

We have simply been plotting the time of sale from the confirmation emails into a database. However it would seem there should be a more efficient way to track / query this?

Would someone be more inclined to buy at noon on a Thursday while they are at work or at 11pm at night when they need to rub one out?

This is kind of why I threw this question out there. So far the vast majority of our clip sales are occurring from 4-6pm est and then from 3am-6am est which is honestly.. odd to me.

Now we haven't been updating at those times... so I'm wondering if perhaps we should look a time of day strategy. C4S is a new game for us & we are still learning what works and what doesn't ( at least for us ).

How many clips would I need in my store if I wanted to make $500 per month? (I realize there are a bunch of variables in that question, but what's your best guess?) 20? 100?

I work a couple weekends each month as a freelance lighting director/videographer just to pull in an extra $500-$800, which sucks, and it would be nice to be able to take those weekends off and just sell my own content.

Well you probably already know, but it's more important WHAT you shoot, especially at sites like Clips4Sale or Yoogirls (yeah, shameless ad, I know). If you're shooting for these sites it makes no sense to film vanilla porn, the more "strange" something appears to you and the less competition you've in the niche (like farting ) the easier it's too reach your goal.

Also, 500$ should be after the cost of shooting (models, location, etc.) right? Shooting non-nude fetish stuff is of course much cheaper than hardcore porn when it comes to model cost ...

Also it depends on the preview, clip lenght, description, update times and like a ton of other factors

You're asking the wrong questions

What type of content are you selling? You need 10 unique clips to open your store and get it "activated". After that it's up to you. Obviously the more you add and update, the more "pops" you'll get on the front page...You want the clips to probably be between 4 minutes and 9 minutes is good. But you said you're not doing any type of fetish content?

I did the same. It's all you need. If there would be an easy way, the competition would be updating their stores at the same time. Which would render that useless.

Well, if even "mainstream" stuff like foot fetish makes you go "wtf", probably clips4sale & co. will not be the best thing for you
