All LEGIT, double opt leads will be paid. There is no minimum ratio or conversion rate in order to be eligible. Just PLEASE don't send fraudulent traffic. That is all.

We convert 1 : 15 overall on our traffic, so if you are 1 : 30, 1: 40 it's still pretty standard.

if you sent like 100 leads and 0 sales, especially because of this promo, then something is up.

Also, we do not accept incentivized traffic where affiliate pay members to sign up and pay them $5 or something.

We just want LEGIT affiliates and if we do find affiliates who are trying to fraud us, we will terminate the account. Of course we have to have proof before we do that.

Best is to talk to your reps and explain them how you will be promoting this.

My current thoughts on this promo.

The double opt requirement is killing me. I'm not sure how much longer it takes people to 'double opt' signup but apparently it's not very popular with my traffic.

My leads dropped to about 25% of what they are normally with my 'single opt' campaigns. Even with the $9 PPL promo I haven't been able to even come close to what I was making. Unfortunately I decided to quit participating in this promo because of this.

Fraud tend to be higher when it's single opt.

You're right about it takes longer to confirm, which is why we started the single opt last year. it also depends on our inboxing rate, and the quality of the traffic.

In general, here is the flow of conversions over time.

Single Opt > Double Opt > Sale

My suggestion is if you are doing media buy, single opt would be your best program as it gives you faster cash flow than the double opt and per sale.

But if you can afford to wait a bit longer, go with the higher pay rate.

We've never done $9 per lead before, we are just doing this to celebrate our 9th year anniversary plus to try to bring the "double opt" affiliates back as it is less riskier for us.

After this promo ends we should be able find which affiliates deserve to get a high PPL rate as default.

Wow! What a busy couple days and the promo has only just started.

We put together this small FAQ on the promo for a couple of the questions we are getting a lot.


Q: Do I need to change the links?

A: We do this manually so if you are already promoting the PPL program, you dont have to. BUT, you do have to notify us that you are running this promo so we can prepare a spreadsheet to bonus you at the end of the month.


Q: How come I dont's see $9/lead on my stats?

As mentioned, in order for us not to require new link, we will need to do this manually.
Which is why you have to contact us prior to participating.

We do not show $9/lead so we do not have to change your rate back after the promo.
We will bonus you manually.

For example, if you are at $5 per lead, at the end of the period we will calculate the how many leads you sent, then we will add $4/lead as your bonus.

If you never contact us prior to running it, we WILL not give you that bonus.
