The "cop" was not a cop but rather an ATF agent, undercover and in plainclothes.

The officer didn't identify himself, and the officer was pushing his friend around, and when he tried to get involved, the officer pushed him? He had no idea that the guy he was messing with was an officer. Get over it.

Well, that incident was obviously the same incident and it's two officers. So one of them he had violence and the other he didnt. I dont know about you, but I have zero incidents dropped or otherwise where I had an altercation with the police. If the charges were dropped it only means someone for some reason decided to drop them, not that they didnt' happen.

Says Trayvon is 160 lbs. Says they arrived on the scene, Zimmerman cooperated, officers made statements that Zimmerman had a bloody nose and a cut on the back of his head. The report seems to indicate that Trayvon was given immediate medical care, within about 5 minutes of the shooting.

- In officer statements, 9 arriving officers are mentioned up to LT, and called for Major Crimes.
- Crime scene secured and yellow taped.
- 6 witness statements taken at the immediate scene.
- Subject Zimmerman removed to PD and turned over to investigators.

Reportedly, the lead investigator wanted to charge Zimmerman with manslaughter but was overruled by the District Attorney's office - the DA's bring the charges, not the police. The DA did not find sufficient cause to file any criminal charges.
