We need an ABP power user to help give us tips and strategies on feed manipulation, choosing better quality feeds, etc..

The program itself is pretty nice, and intuitive.. beyond that however, it would benefit from some tips & strategies. Some feeds are badly needing some manipulation.. better titles, etc..

That guy stole without having to. The money he stole from me was for something which would have taken almost no labor on his end -- literally like 15 minutes if he had to do it manually and was lying about his software capabilities -- and it would have cost him nothing, but he decided he would rather just rip me off.

He insisted we speak on the phone when negotiating, which is usually a red flag to me. Last rip-off artist I allow to coerce me into chatting on the phone.

As I remember Chio made everyone's panties wet with his clever pirate speak but then someone found the site he was plugging his sentences into and it would translate to pirate speak. LOL

Also I remember him bragging about knowing Will Ferrell. I wonder if that was true.

I always insist on email so we both have record of what was said. Not necessarily for legal purposes (though it could be used for that) but I like the notetaking element. It's all right there, easy to see, nothing can be forgotten or overlooked.

I totally agree. I just prefer it because then I don't have to jot things down on Post-Its or something. But I've found, over the years, that people who press me to chat on the phone instead . . . 100% of the time, those phone people are not trustworthy and do not have good intentions.

Chio's actions really surprised me as I thought we were really close. I've spent time with his family, and he was a guest in my home. Some friends and I all processed our paysites through his billing solution for two years without a hitch, and he ended up screwing all of us. Definitely did not see it coming.

My friends had their payouts set to monthly to save on wire fees and got screwed a lot harder. My last phone call to him I pleaded to at least release some of their funds as they were really counting on that payout to keep their business going. He told me that he had started billing for gambling sites and lost his mids and the last month worth of settlements, and with the medical drama concerning his daughter his new outlook on life was to stop giving a shit about anyone else but his family and retire. What really pissed me off about that was despite the processor issues he was he was very successful for many years and had the personal funds to pay us back and chose not to.

I don't think he was a scammer from the beginning. There was a lot of trust back then and he was a very generous guy for a long time. Crazy how fast people can change though.

LOL at people pointing out the "pirate" nickname as if that has anything to do with whether he was going to steal money from people though.

He got weird at some point. I don't know what happened. Hung out at a bunch of events and in Costa Rica. I caught him saying shit about my kids using a fake nick. Called him on the phone and he didn't know I knew and called him out on it. He apologized and stumbled around acting like he didn't know what I was talking about at first. Didn't trust him again after that whether it was supposed joking around or not. I think I had an account and card from the epassport type system he had setup but never was able to get it loaded or something. So long ago now hard to remember. Was always super nice in person, though I'm fairly certain there was some jokes behind my back as well. Oh well.

Yet, the way he talked about you did not imply that the respect went both ways. The list of people he has screwed through misrepresentation or malfeasance is long. If you look, you will see a pattern emerge: he "partners" with someone for a period of time, and they are the best thing since sliced bread. Then, they call him out on some shit (in my case, and in the case of MrKris, not making payments as promised), and suddenly they're a pariah that he badmouths to everyone.

He fucked Jace out of a fuckload of money on FeedPushers, simply by spewing bullshit to him to convince him to disengage from the project. He was a 50% partner, and he pissed it all away after a phone call with Chio ... and that company minted big money from the day I started it. He was so thoroughly brainwashed that even after I contacted Jace a year or so later to bury the hatchet and give him some profits, he didn't even REPLY to the email.

Everywhere you look, he's left a string of people he used and then abandoned to the wolves, yourself included. I'd guess he's a true sociopath.

No offense, but he was able to be generous because he was paying you out of the money he stole from me.
