Harvey, get your ass in here
Because you kept telling how great Magic Members is and how it does exactly what i needed i bought the multisite version and used your affiliate link only to find out i can't use it.
Now i'm stuck with 5 sites and 2 employees that are ready to start working and i can't do shit. Below the post that convinced me. Quote:

If you have a gallery with thumbnails leading the bigger pictures it can't protect it and then for paying members enable the full pictures. It just can't. If you have a video it can't protect it and then enable it for paying members. For EVERY single thumbnail in a gallery or every single screenshot of a movie you will need to add specific links that only work for paying members. I don't know what your motivation is for being all over the Magic Members threads claiming how it can fucking do aaaaaaaaanything and eeeeeeverything but next time i suggest being honest. I hope you enjoy my money. I'll find a different use for the software, it's not all lost. But it just sucks. In the end it's my fault. I shouldn't let someone random on gfy answer my questions. That was a mistake. I should've contacted the guys at MM straight away. |

There's a money back policy or was that another script? If so, I'd pickup Your Members instead. Active development and support.

MM is based on an OLD version of YM, so maybe the support forum for YM could be useful. It's possible MM will do it but it's all about the right strategy. Are you using the gallery shortcode (built-in gallery)?
Try something like this: Code:
[no_access]img thumbnail + teaser text[/no_access] [private]img/video[/private]

I've no obligation to help you, and I don't know wtf are you talking about me enjoying "your" money since everything you say is a lie, but, here's a good piece of advice:

Harvey, i have no problem with you. In the end it's my own fault for listening to you instead of the makers of the software.
But just wondering why instead of calling everything i say a lie (????) why can't you just say oh shit, i was wrong, i understood you wrong....you know something like that? You already act like a dick so you probably won't, then please just explain to me how everything i said i a lie because that answer just baffles me. |

And I personally doubt they answered something like you said. It's its most basic feature, so unless you asked for something and what you want to do isn't remotely close to what you asked, then you're lying again. And as for me being a dick... well, it wasn't me the one calling me out in 3 (three) different threads because you're too lazy to read a manual. If you actually cared, you would have look for help or even contact me in an appropriate, educated manner, that's why I'm pretty sure you didn't even buy the script. OR, you really need help. And not exactly about WP nor any other script. Anyway, assuming anything you said is true, please explain me... if you don't give a fuck about your business, why should I? And furthermore, why should I worry FOR FREE? I charge all my clients and they have no issues hiring me, why should I help you FOR FREE when you're trying to affect me and my businesses in a negative way? Are you really THAT out of reality? (for the record, now I wouldn't even accept you as a paying customer, I'm sick of "clients from hell") To recap: if you bought the script, ask your script's customer service for help or... (shocking, I know) READ THE FUCKING MANUAL. I could have told you the answers you need, even without your fake "aff referral"... but... you know... you just burnt that bridge

"1you didn't use my aff code"
Wtf? I signed up under your affiliate link because you were nice enough to help me. Why would i lie about that? If something didn't work there it's not my fault. "I'll add to this I SERIOUSLY doubt you even bought the script" That is just retarded. No really, i'm not even gonna defend myself on that. "And I personally doubt they answered something like you said. " Yes, they did and made it clear IT IS NOT possible. Nor does the manual tell you how to do that. You know for some reason if it doesn't mention it in the manual and the owners tell me it is not possible i tend to believe them. Once again no big problem. Totally my fault. It just amazed me how you go all nuts here and calling me a liar and shit. That's just weird man. You made a mistake. You didn't do it on purpose. Just say that and we're done. You have issues man. |

Harvey spends 24 hours a day sucking a fat rubber dildo attached to a life-sized cardboard cutout of Matt Mullenweg. No matter what your question is, Harvey's answer is "WORDPRESS!"
Even hardcore Star Trek fanboys are jealous (and frightened) of Harvey's devotion to a platform that continually adds useless features and has never actually been secure. Wordpress was great when it was tiny. Now its a bloated, arrogant piece of shit. |

there's no need to mod the script. The only mod needed is in his behavior. For starters, reading the manual or watch those nifty videos they have with step by step "how to". But well, guess that's too much to ask

this is like someone recommending a sponsor, then someone else signs up and uses the wrong code and starts crying "this sponsor doesn't convert!". Of course it won't! You're doing everything wrong!

Oh and may i point out that you really have issues with your ego. It's clear you don't accept anyone saying anything bad about you. You totally snap. Start randomly calling that person a liar. It's really odd behaviour. You might want to work on that.
But anyway, that's not what the thread is about. I'll just wait for you to point it out in the manual so i can say sorry, i was wrong. |

Hey Frank.
I tried to find some tutorials that may be helpful to you but didn't find much. I did find this article showing some of the options available in the plugin. http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/cr...magic-members/ If you scroll down to the Partial Content Display description, then to the Entire Blog Protection is that what you are trying to do? I'm not being sarcastic or anything, just noticed you haven't gotten very far with this and figured I would try to flex my google muscles and try to find something helpful for you. It doesn't show you much but if those are the options you are looking for, at least you can see that it is possible to do it without modding anything. Best of luck with it |

I'm pretty sure that being Saturday late night / Sunday early morning and the fact that you're being an asshole are factors that plays a pretty important role in you being ignored.
For the record, there are 2 guys in this board that always helps everybody, usually for free: Harvey and Fris. After this thread, I doubt you'll get any help from anyone. Just my humble opinion, of course. |

DJ, think about this. You act like a blog as a paysite is totally stupid.
But pushing paysites through a blog is considered smart, right? How about you cut out the middleman. Why send them somewhere if you can keep them on your blog and let them sign up there. It will look like any other blog but they simply will need to pay for the content on the blog instead of for the content on the sponsorsite you push. This and the fact that SE traffic will be way easier to get than a traditional paysite. And you can do LE's directly to the (paid)blog. The surfers will see every single update every day listed on the site. So they will know exactly what content there is. I'm pretty sure i can find many more benefits a blog as a paysite has. |
