Deleting site from google analytics question

My questions:
* If I delete site/property from my analytics account, but analytics code still remains on the site (sold site and buyer ignores request to remove the code) does google still treat it as my site?
* If new owner does bad things with that particular site, may it affect my other sites associated with that analytics account? Like make me (my account) less trusthworthy pr something?

Thanks

I made a test site for someone using a analytics ID I made for testing purposes, once finished I deleted the ID from my own account and they installed their own a couple of months later, did not notice any adverse effect to my account. So 99.99% certain once you delete it from your analytics account that is the end of it being associated in any way with your account. They give this warning "Important: Please note that once you've deleted your account, that's it: the account is gone, and we are not be able to retrieve any historical data or reinstate your reports.". So I would assume it just becomes dormant, as once you unlink it you can not get the UA-XXXX-Y back and someone else can not register a UA-XXXX-Y that has already been used to themselves.

Well they installed heir own (= deleted your old code). In my case my old code is still on that site I sold. So not exactly the same situation
Plus - why would you get any adverse affect if the new owner was not doing anything shady? The fact that you did not get any affect in this one instance is not enought to claim that it never happens.

Hmm, I think deleting you account is different story. I am merely talking about deleting a site ("property") from the account (while leaving the code still on the site).

Ja, that's what I mean by the .01% not sure but it would make sense it follows the same rules. While my code was active the data/stats were linked to my account, once I deleted the site from my account no further data was collected, and they could obviously not collect any stats until they created and installed their own as the IDs are unique.

So to test this I just removed an old site that is long since dead from my GA account. And this is what it says:

"Don't forget to remove the Analytics JavaScript code snippet from all your pages so that your site doesn't continue to accrue data. Once you click 'Delete' at the bottom of this page, you won't have access to your reports and they can't be reinstated."

Once removed, you have to generate new codes as the old ones are unlinked, I couldn't "re-activate" the old code. So once you remove the site it's gone for good. I would have to re-verify and install a new code. So I'm pretty confident your code, that they still have on the site, while it may still be collecting data for Google, that data is not linked to your GA account so anything they do won't affect your other sites.

Why would that javascript continue to accrue data after account deletion if that data were not able to be used by anyone?
I think that data might still be collected by google (and last known account would be mine, in case they wanted to associate that data with someone).
Just brainstorming here

Nothing ever deletes from Google side, everything you say and do will be used against you.

Better organic results on Google if you just stay away from using any of their products and services.
