Where to begin, before becoming a webmaster...

Pretty straight forward, like I've said before, I'm trying to begin a career in film production, both mainstream and adult, but I'm having trouble finding a way into the business!

So far, I've gotten some advice, one of the most important is that chances are I will first have to learn how to participate and work on other people's productions, before being able to bring my own ideas to life. I've also got a feeling that getting a foot in this business isn't as simple as googling job applications online; if it were that easy, then every moron who thinks they can direct a movie would be swamping the system with questions and applications!

That said, I'm still hoping that someone could potentially point me in the sort of direction I need to go to find my way in, what do I need to do first simply to find the door into film production, adult film specifically in this case. What do I need to land a job if and when I find my way in?

Well to start out, check out the Educational section of the forums. (GFY Educational Series)

Beyond that, decide what it is you are hoping to accomplish - do you want to be a cameraman, director, or webmaster?

I know you mentioned wanting to be a webmaster in the title, but then you go on to considering other jobs.

To become a webmaster you should start out small, create a blog and see if you can manage to generate some good traffic, once you've got that going - you can consider moving on to starting a site in which to direct that traffic.

Also, make sure you discover what niche you are planning on going into, and check out the competition - see what they're doing and how well they're doing.

Anyway like I said, check out the educational section - it's a huge help! Good luck out there!!
