How to monetize prepaid.xxx
Hello, DJPrepaid here! I'm an expert in the payments space and have been in the Prepaid Card, Stored Value and Crypto currency industry for over 11 years. Expert in both acquiring and issuing of debit and credit cards. I'm a newbie to the Adult Industry. Looking for business ideas on how to best monetize my url prepaid.xxx. Any ideas out there?

setup a business account at paxum, then setup a money system similar to paypal let users signup for an account and upload money to that account using paxum service, from credit card, to cheque to bank accounts, allow users to upload money fast and easy. Talk to paysites and sponsors about signing a deal for a service everytime user wanna buy porn they dont need to swipe the credit card or phone or wutever payments method just use ur Prepaid.xxx account to pay. When u grow ur business u can even talk about deals, like the regular paysites cost $24.99 but using ur pay system to pay u only pay $19.99. Later u can expand from paysites transaction services to other adult related niche, like services from designing to cms anything adult related but they need a payment solution.
Ur selling point. Since alot of people who pay porn really dont want any traces on their credit card statement, then its better rather to use an account to pay any porn site instead. And easier for them to search for non spammy paysites or search for sites that have the best contents since u have user datas now and u just sort them into categories and put it in ur platform, make it internal. Dont know if u get what I mean, just came through my mind. |

Thanks Tarimisu for the advice. I wasn't thinking of using the site that way at all... as it's own payment service... I will give it some thought. What was thinking was a payment exchange site. A place for all legit payment services to advertise and let users compare services and select one. Any thoughts on that?

If you want people in the industry to treat you seriously, dump the shitty .xxx domain and go with a .com domain.

I don't know about you, but I would not take monetary advice from a .xxx site, especially if it came across as if it was written by a Russian, Eastern European or Nigerian. Even if your native language is English, make sure someone else writes all the web site content. I think that the logic of Tiramisus' idea makes far more sense. Not a Paxum fan, but it is a start. There are very few developed .xxx domains. It's a virtual ghost town. Most .xxx domain registrations are owned by companies seeking to protect their brands or by uninformed speculators outside the adult industry. Many people believe that trademark owners were essentially extorted by ICM Registry and forced to buy .xxx domains at an inflated price, in fear that someone might use their brands and associate them with porn. .com is the oldest and most widely marketed TLD. Companies, big and small from around the world have spent many billions of dollars branding their .com sites over the last 3 decades. With the exception of certain ccTLDs that target specific markets in their respective countries, .com has the most credibility among online consumers. US based Moniker was sold to German based Key Systems. On June 1st this year, Moniker unveiled a bug ridden domain administration interface. It's apparent they failed to properly beta test their new platform and understand the specific needs of domainers with large portfolios. Some reported problems include unauthorized credit card charges, failure to renew domains, renewal of unwanted domains, revealing of hidden WHOIS proxy info, failure to send renewal notices and unresponsive customer service. There are numerous threads on GFY with details about both topics. Just do a search.
