Hey guys,

I have a merchant that is looking to jump into the cam scene. What is working best in terms of cam software for everyone?

How about studios? He is looking at getting involved with the lowest cost possible, but is willing to spend more if he sees the value.

Yea, MFC or Chaturbate. Have a good computer and webcam. Sign up for free on those sites, Upload copy of id and face next to id. Click on start broadcasting.

Just check the sites terms of service. Stuff like public nudity may be against the TOS.

Are they in Amsterdam?

I do believe he is looking for a script and something standalone. He is currently running a couple of content sites and is wanting to expand into a new territory. White label though may be interesting if he just wants to get his feet wet.

Our live girls widget is completely stand alone. It comes in the form of an iframe and can be slotted into any website

Mine is not fully launched yet, we have just a few things, cosmetic things, to wrap up and it'll be done. But I'm paying out up to $60 per signup, $1 per free join (with email confirmation) or 30% revshare for life.

Hey. Been struggling with a cam startup for a couple years now. The income is there but the technology is a huge headache.

The biggest issue is that mobile has pretty much taken over. Mobile does not support Flash, Flash is central to about all the low to mid cost cam platforms out there, in fact I am not aware of any that can stream in HTML5 or Java or whatever would allow the iphone and android crowd to use the site.

Most surfers these days are on mobile exclusively and if your site doesn't work for mobile they just assume it doesn't work at all and move on.

It would be (relatively) simple to make an app for mobile but app stores aren't going to host it so pointless.

I have some limited mobile functionality hacked together for mine, which so far has cost me over 20k in development and is far from complete. But it basically works. As soon as either Adobe starts streaming to java or html 5, or gets mobile platforms to run it's plugin, or a low to mid cost solution becomes available that streams in HTML 5 or some mobile friendly format, then all that money will be wasted and I'll have to switch to that.

Anyway hit me up if you want to talk more, my username here on Yahoo or split it into 2 words and you got my skype. Most folks around here will hear you are setting up a camsite and want you to sell theirs instead, or somehow persuade you to help build their business instead of yours. I am about where your merchant will be in 3 years if he's lucky, and happy to help.

Very cool of you - this is what I thought he was after which was why I didn't get in the middle of it before I did, but all I was seeing was him being slapped with spamming their cam sites - so, of course I had to be a sarcastic ass - but you are very kind to help with what he needs help with and explaining it -
